Memory boxes in untreated birch wood
Some things can't be replaced later: the first ultrasound picture, the hospital bracelet, the first lock of hair, and a few years on the drawings from nursery. A memory box – also called a keepsake box – gives these things a permanent home.
We make the boxes near Munich from untreated, FSC-certified birch wood. The lid is printed with a design and your child's name, with birth details or your own text if you like.
Two sizes
The small box measures about 30 × 20 × 13 cm. It holds ultrasound pictures, the hospital bracelet, cards and the first photos. The large box, about 40 × 30 × 23 cm, also takes the first romper, a cuddly toy or larger craft work. Both have a hinged lid.

Print and material
Design and name are printed directly onto the wooden lid, using ink certified to the OEKO-TEX® standard and GREENGUARD Gold. The wood itself stays untreated. Because wood is a natural material, the grain varies slightly from box to box.
Designs
The designs include a mermaid and underwater world, octopus and sea animals, road trip animals, a dragon, bear, fox, deer, jungle and colourful woodland animals. Each box has a set design; you choose the text.
How to enter the text
The product page has a field for the text. Write it exactly as it should appear on the lid, for example:

As a gift
For a birth, a christening or starting nursery. A memory box is filled over many years – unlike gifts that end up in a corner after a few weeks. The large box also works as a toy box for the nursery.

Printed. Design and text are applied in colour to the wooden lid.
Can I change the design?
No, each box has a set design. Choose the box with the design you like and decide on the text.
Which size is right?
The small box is enough for cards, photos and small keepsakes. If you also want to keep clothes or cuddly toys, take the large one.
How much does a memory box cost?
